Brand Refresh: Species Signage
The Calgary Zoo’s existing signage was outdated and visually inconsistent, limiting its ability to effectively convey conservation messaging. A unified design system was needed to enhance visitor engagement, improve accessibility, and align with the zoo’s rebrand.

A strategic color palette and flexible signage framework were designed to unify messaging, improve readability, and enhance visitor engagement. The modernization of the Dorothy Harvie Gardens Interpretive Signage and the park-wide species signage redesign ensured a visually consistent and accessible experience, aligning with the zoo’s rebrand while strengthening its educational impact.
